The Romilly's Foundation is a charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales , registration no. 1082605. It was set up in 2001 following Romilly's death at the age of 14. Its mission, together with Romilly's Association in France , is to relieve the suffering of children in distress in Africa .

Naivasha Children Shelter
'As of Sunday 9th the Naivasha Children's Shelter has had a new volanteer, Laura Dick. Laura is a young Californian who comes to Naivasha in the wake of the terrible disturbances '.

PROJECTS The Foundation currently supports three projects, The Naivasha Children's Shelter in Kenya and the Kawaza Primary School in Zambia and our latest project Romilly's Shelter at Kitwe in Zambia.

'Fresh Air and Low Carbon'
Having painted his way from Gibraltar to Somerset, creating 43 watercolours Philip Kerr will show and sell his work for the benefit of Romilly's Foundation during the Someerset Arts Fair 12th to 27th September. Click below for Invitation to Private View

A date for your diary. The 5th March 2009 has been set as a provisional date for the 3 rd of Romilly's concerts at St John's Smith Square .
Liverpool Medical Students Society choses Romilly's Foundation to be their charity of the year. We are delighted to have been chosen. Fundraising events include: the LMSS Charity Auction 16 th October, the LMSS Naked Calender Launch Party 13 th November, Beatles Night 27 th November, Christmas Concert 7 th December, and a Fashion Show 19 th February. ADMINISTRATION

All those who work for the foundation receive neither fees nor salaries. Except at Kitwe, those who supervise the projects in Africa are also unpaid. Administrative costs are therefore low.
