The Power of Small Donations Campaign

Small donations add up.

Many hands make light work. And yes, some of the lights at Friends of Street Children (FSC) do not work, but a challenge shared is a battle won. Mosquito nets need to be replaced regularly, windows painted, plumbing repaired, pumps maintained, the minibus maintained, and salaries paid. At the moment, thanks to the generosity of Romilly’s wonderful supporters her charity is sending £ 1100 a month to pay for salaries, but this significantly exceeds the charity’s monthly income. Just 110 people making small affordable donations of £10 a month will cover this and allow us to buy essentials like mosquito nets as well as make repairs to the FSC buildings. Donors will not only be supporting the heroic, dedicated FSC staff but through them changing the lives of very vulnerable children hugely for the better. It is a double positive.

How you can help: Host a talk about the work of Friends of Street Children and Romilly’s charity. If you would like to do so please email James Forshall at jamesforshall@gmail.com

None of the trustees of either FSC nor Romilly Forshall Foundation are paid for their work for these charities. All of your donation at the link above goes to the charity. Romilly’s costs are very small, just a few hundred a year for internet subscription, quick books and accountants. This is an efficient way to make a huge difference to the lives of very vulnerable children.
